Ever since he was a kid, Aaron has loved being outside, canoeing, fishing, hiking and backpacking whenever he could. Having explored much of New England and eager to get out west, in 1995 Aaron bought a 1986 Ford Bronco that he gutted to make room for his gear, a bed, a plastic cooler and his mountain bike. From there, his love for road trips and exploration was born.
On foot, Aaron has hiked the majority of the Appalachian Trail in New England and is a member of the “Four Thousand Footer” club in New Hampshire (having climbed all 48 4,000 foot mountains in NH). He has also through-hiked the North South Trail in RI with sights set on completing the Mid-State Trail in MA.
Since 2001, Aaron has been an Instructor with the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Educator Outdoors Program teaching outdoor leadership skills in the areas of backpacking, hiking and camping.
In 2002, he and his wife Jennifer earned scholarships through the AMC to become Master Educators through Leave No Trace in order to develop a trainer course program. For the past 20 years Aaron has been teaching trainer courses throughout New England as well as awareness courses with youth groups.
With the boom of the overlanding community over the past several years, the need to expand the message from Leave No Trace was apparent. Aaron is a Master Tread Trainer with Tread Lightly!, raising awareness among motorized recreationists and training trainers to lead their own awareness workshops promoting stewardship here in the Northeast where opportunities to explore are so very limited.
Aaron is a Registered Maine Guide who enjoys teaching and sharing the great outdoors.

Tony grew up spending weekends at his dad's hand-built, off-grid home on a 90-acre mountainside property in New Hampshire. They would bushcraft, hike, camp, cross country ski, ATV, and forage for wild blueberries when in season. Many weekends were spent playing in the vast pine forest or exploring old granite foundations that resided in the area.
During high school, Tony obtained lifeguard and CPR/first aid certification through the YMCA. During his senior year in high school, he joined the local fire department’s volunteer team and went through the Maine State Firefighter 1 course and became certified as a Maine State Firefighter.
In 2003, Tony enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served 10 years as a crew chief for F-16 and KC-135s airframes. His primary job assignment was phase inspection where he would perform all heavy maintenance and inspections on the aircraft. He served in Iraq in 2006 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Serving in this job function allowed him to advance his mechanical know-how and look for things prior to performance degradation and possible failure, in which he applies this same knowledge while on our adventures.
Tony has always had a passion to learn, educate, share and train others in outdoor activities through his personal experiences throughout the years. In 2023, he became a Registered Maine Guide to push himself but also be able to share his knowledge and love of the outdoors. Tony is looking for others who want to experience complete remoteness the great outdoors has to offer. He is always ready and willing to go on an adventure and experience new places with others to create fun and lasting memories.
